I am married with 3 grown up kids. My family is what gives me energy and satisfaction.
Before becoming a Health and Life Coach,
I was a Clinical Psychologist working with women with drug addiction. I left my job to become a full-time mother.
For years, I dedicated my life to raise my children.
I love that I was able to do that.
Being in contact with a lot of moms all the time,
I realized that we usually put everyone's needs ahead of ours.
Until one day, we realize that we haven't been taking care of ourselves. We don't even recognize us anymore. We have lost our identity.
This was my own experience when my kids were going to college. I felt like I didn't know who I was or what was my purpose in life.
I felt sad and lonely. I started to gain a lot of weight. I went from being 140lbs to 270lbs.
This was my turning point when I realized that instead of dealing with and accepting my emotions,
I was eating them!
Through my own battle with emotional eating, I discovered my passion and purpose -- helping women.
In order to feel good about ourselves, we have to be authentic and learn how to love who we are.
In becoming our Best Authentic Self, we need to balance every aspect of our wellbeing.
That's why, in my programs, we work to improve other areas of our lives
like emotional, physical, social, work (vocational) and relationships.
